Happy 2008

It's been a quiet day here in Vero Beach. I decided to take part in the LOAD challenge that's going on over at BigPictureScrapbooking. (Sorry, I haven't figured out how to insert the link in my posts yet.) LOAD stands for LayOut A Day and the challenge is to make 31 layouts in the 31 days of January, 2008.

Lain Ehmann, who blogs at ScrapHappy, is providing the challenge to get crafters to "stretch yourself, learn a little, and play a lot". So I'm posting my first scrapbook page in a long time. Hopefully, the 1st of 31.

Supplies used: Cardstock: Bazzill, Georgia Pacific; ribbons: Michaels; buttons: Jesse James, Foofala.

Thanks for looking.

That is great that you are taking the challenge. I could never do it. I make cards and scrapping is hard for me. I saw your blog through a comment on Beth's blog and wanted to check you out. I too make goals not resolutions for the year. I wanted to tell you how to put a link in your text. It is so easy. Copy the link you want to use from the address bar. When you are typing your post highlight the words you want to be "clickable" and then click on the icon of a globe with a chain on it (get it? A 'link' to the world wide web?) This will pop up a little box and you can paste the link you already copied. Then click done and "bam" -you are good to go.
Hope the rest of your month goes well. I'll add your blog to my google reader and can't wait to see more of what you create. :)
